If you have ever thought about traveling to Vietnam, unique Vietnam destinations add up to make for one of the most diverse vacations your family will ever take. Vietnam has become extremely tourist friendly and a Vietnam vacation is easier to plan that what you might think. Here are some of the Vietnam destinations that will make for an unforgettable time away:

Hanoi: This is one of the must-see Vietnam destinations. The old-city quarter is unique, and classic French-colonial architecture serves as the backdrop for the fast pace of the motorbike traffic and otherwise busy streets. Your family will love Hanoi cuisine, one of the cheapest and best in the world.

Ha Long Bay: Here is where your family can charter junk boats to enjoy the views of the stunning limestone monuments that rise out of the blue water. You might also remember Ha Long Bay from the 1974 James Bond film, “The Man with the Golden Gun.”

Sa Pa: Visiting Northern Vietnam’s mountains gives you the chance to see the tiered rice terraces that are so famously photographed and also learn more about the hill tribes who maintain them. Kids will just love walking along suspension bridges or taking photos with water buffaloes.

Hoi An: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hoi An is a 15th century harbor town that has been preserved for tourists to visit. There are many activities to do here, including shopping and sightseeing in this picturesque and well-preserved historic trading port. Hoi An cooking tour will be a memorable experience for the whole family.

Saigon: The capital city is one of the great Vietnam destinations to either start or finish your vacation. There is shopping, culture, architecture and night life to enjoy that is unlike any other capital city in the world. Take your kids to a Saigon river cruise to have a great dinner onboard.

Mekong Delta: The Mekong delta is one of the Vietnam destinations that also happens to be home to half of Vietnam’s agriculture. The Mekong Delta is another place in Vietnam where time has seemed to stop, so this is an excellent place to see the culture of a society that is practically untouched by the modern word. There are also production shops to tour, to see pottery and coconut products being made.

More than anything, Vietnam destinations will take your family to eateries and shops. There is an incredibly diverse amount of food and shopping here, and there are markets and places to eat everywhere. Just remember that in all Vietnam destinations, the price is always family friendly.
