Am Tich Islets

HomeHalong Travel Guides → Am Tich Islets

The Am Tich islets or Teapot Islets is a small rock on the sightseeing route from Hon Gai tourist pier, passing the Monster Head rock before entering into Vung Vieng fishing village. The route has been used by various cruise companies including Bhaya Cruise Company.

The name is given to the Islets as it looks like a little teapot of Vietnamese families. This again indicates a rich imaginative thinking of fishermen and tourists. Tourists will find hundreds of rocks which have a certain name given by the human beings. Con Coc (Toad) Islet, Ga Choi (Kissing Rocks), Snail Rock, etc to name a few here are the outcomes of this rich imagination.
